This is a brief description of the mips instruction set. mips is a RISC instruction set architecture, descended from the original risc-2 instruction set. It supports many common instructions, including arithmetic, logical, and register-to-register operations. mips also supports memory-to-memory operations, as well as subroutine calls and interrupts.
